Alerts for your spot, your schedule, and your session window. Not every forecast — just the ones that matter to you.
Most forecast apps assume you're free whenever the wind blows. WindChaser knows your schedule — and only alerts you when both align.
No more midweek alerts for sessions you can't make. We'll alert you when it matters — on the days you're actually free.
Tell us your window — evenings only, mornings only — and we'll match the forecast to fit your life.
Constrained schedules shouldn't mean missed sessions. Set the times you can get away and leave the rest to us.
Define your own wind range, preferred directions, and tide window. Not every kiter is the same — your alerts shouldn't be either.
Been out of the water a while? One well-timed alert is all it takes to get you back on the water.
Follow multiple beaches, each with its own wind range, tide settings, and season window.
No app store needed. Works on any device. Install on your home screen for push notifications.
Add your local kite beach. Set your preferred wind speed range, direction, and tide window. Each spot is tuned to how you ride it.
Tell us when you're available — mornings, evenings, weekends. A simple 7-day grid. We only alert you when the forecast matches your free time.
Every morning at 7am, WindChaser checks the forecast for your spots against your schedule. Conditions line up — you hear about it. If not — silence.
A 7-day colour-coded forecast personalised to your wind settings, a dashboard showing all your spots at a glance, and a spot setup that takes minutes.
A simple promise: WindChaser will never cost you more than a single cup of coffee at Ken's local coffee shop. That's it.
Everything included. One simple price.

Hi. My name is Ken, and I am the creator of WindChaser. It started as a passion project, just for me. I live on the North East coast in England, and the wind blows offshore almost all of the time — so much so that I gave up scanning weather apps.
And then one day I went for a walk on the beach and the wind was stonking onshore, the lagoons were perfect and the sun was shining. And I almost missed a fantastic session. So I thought — an app that alerts me when the conditions are right would be great.
Building it turned out to be more complex than I expected. But I made two commitments when I started, and I'm keeping them: no ads, ever — and it will never cost more than a cup of coffee a month.
